Door Supervisor Training Course

Main difference between Security Guard and Door Supervisor is Door Supervisors can also work at licensed premises such as pubs, clubs, festivals and anywhere open alcohol is being served.

Once you successfully complete your Door Supervisor training course, you will be able to apply for your SIA Door Supervisor Licence. It is a legal requirement to hold a valid SIA Licence before commencing work in the UK Private Security Industry.

The SIA Door Supervisor course is divided into 4 units:

  • Principles of Working in the Private Security Industry
  • Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry
  • Application of Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry
  • Physical Intervention

On the final day of the course there will be 3 multiple-choice exams and a practical assessment of the physical intervention skills you will be taught on the course.
