VACANT PREMISES INSPECTION

Overview

It is a fact of life that all property management companies will have at some stage vacant premises on their books. Each site will have its own unique requirements depending on

  • Location
  • Security
  • State of repair
  • Utilities and power
  • Effect on adjoining properties
  • Length of time estimated to re let
  • Infestations

The above list and other factors affecting can mean an asset manager could need to have a number of contractors to supply the individual needs of a site together with gaining access to the site when a contractor is required to go on to site.

SR Security Vacant premises service

Being a security contractor we can hold keys to sites direct or by the use of strategic partners to cover the security requirements of the site and to patrol the site as agreed with the Client to produce on going reports of the status of the site, however SR also have a list of contractors who can provide all the other services which may be required to maintain the site while it is vacant.

The difference

  • Because we hold the keys we can control the access
  • Because we use our contractors we can be more flexible in the deployment against access
  • The asset manager has “One Point Of Contact” to get anything done
  • The asset manager only has one point of invoice
  • The audit trail is in one line rather than several different lines
